The JARAPA has been used from the beginning to cover the needs of the home(fireplace) and they were woven in the own(proper) house.
The word derives from the RAGS used in his(her,your) confection, which are rags without any usefulness(utility) that they find his(her,your) last use.
HILACAR is the only one workshop that uses these traditional technologies(skills), recovering this way a part(report) of the textile crafts alpujarreña.
